Runi Talwar

Your host is an award-nominated stand-up comedian, Runi  Talwar. He is an accomplished improviser, being among the first graduating class of Improv Theatre Sydney as well as training at iO Chicago and Second City. As a writer, Runi has written for ABC Australia, SBS Australia in addition to TV and radio panel shows such as Hypothetical, Have I Got News For You, The Now Show and BBC News Quiz.

 

Peter Jones

Hailing from Australia and now making London laugh, meet stand-up comedian Peter Jones. He’s graced TV screens on Comedy Up Late, even shining in Netflix’s Why Are You Like This? In his home country, he’s penned scripts for TV gems like The Project and The Weekly. Just before jetting off to London, he clinched the Kings of Comedy – Comedian of the Year title. 

 

Matt Rouse

With his engaging comic style and captivating stage presence, Matt Rouse is a new name making big moves in stand up.

Already winner of the respected Hastings Fringe New Act Competition and nominated for the BBC New Comedy Awards, the rising star has become known for his fresh viewpoint and cleverly packaged strong material. 

 

Gatis Kandis

Gatis Kandis is a comedic rapper and a comedian who auditioned for Series 5Series 6 and Series 10 of Britain’s Got Talent, reaching the Semi-Finals in Series 6 and the second round in Series 5 and Series 10. Gatis is now a Youtuber who makes videos in a similar style to his ‘strange’ comedy act.
