Salisbury By Rail
Explore the beautiful city of Salisbury at your leisure with this convenient day trip by rail. Begin at Waterloo Station at 8.20am, where you’ll check in with a Golden Tours representative at the Information Desk (opposite Platform 12), and receive a welcome pack containing all you’ll need for your trip. The train sets off at 8.50am, so sit back and relax in your seating, as you speed through the peaceful English countryside. Once you arrive in Salisbury, the wonderful city is yours to explore for the day. 

Salisbury Cathedral
This incredible example of early English architecture is proud owner of the tallest church spire in the UK. Explore the gorgeous interior, with its beautiful sculptures, paintings and stained glass windows. Take a look at the oldest working clock in the world and inspect the best preserved original copy of the Magna Carta – the 800 year old historical document that stated that everybody, including the King, was subject to law.

Trains return to London every hour until approximately 10pm, so simply head back to London when you’re ready!
