More information about The Poetry of the Natural World tickets

This is an in-person only event in the British Library Pigott Theatre.

Join us on National Poetry Day for an evening of verse about the natural world, featuring works by Yeats, Emily Dickinson, Keats, Coleridge, Tennyson, Shakespeare, Dylan Thomas and more. Joely Richardson (The Gentlemen, Nip Tuck) will lead an all-star cast reading some of the most haunting and beautiful works in the English literary canon; in celebration of our fragile planet’s landscapes, wildlife and its changing seasons. Full cast to be announced soon.

The Poetry Hour was set up in memory of Josephine Hart, a gifted writer and producer who advocated for the joys of poetry. The event showcases a range of beautiful poetry by the dead poets. An astonishing array of famous and faithful actors have read aloud including Dame Eileen Atkins, Bob Geldof, Elizabeth McGovern, Jeremy Irons and so many more!

Half price tickets available for Members, Students, Under 26 and other concession groups.
