All that’s left is to take your seats and head off towards Windsor. Explore the beautiful Berkshire town of Windsor at your own pace with its rich Royal history, pretty countryside walks and a quaint town centre.

Discover why this impressive castle is The King’s favourite weekend residence and explore the rich history contained within its walls. See Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House, explore the opulent State Apartments with their priceless artworks, including pieces by Rembrandt and Leonardo Da Vinci and pay a visit to St George’s Chapel, the final resting place of Queen Mary, Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth II. The tour is unescorted, accompanied by an audio guide and lasts approximately two hours.

Windsor Castle opening hours:

Windsor Castle is only open Thursday to Monday. 1st of March to 31st of October 10am - 5.15pm (last admission time 4pm) 1st of November to 28th of February 10am - 4.15pm (last admission time 3pm) Semi-State Rooms Entrance to the State Apartments closes 30 minutes after the last admission time. Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House is currently closed for planned improvement works. St George’s Chapel St. George’s Chapel is usually closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services.
