More information about A Christmas Carol tickets

  • A new staging with the orchestra and chorus of English National Opera and the London Musical Theatre Orchestra brings this fabulous re-telling of Charles Dickens’ heart-warming tale of redemption and the true spirit of Christmas to the London Coliseum stage.

This production has an extraordinary Broadway team behind it. The music is by four-time Oscar winner Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Pocahontas), original choreography from five-time Tony Award-winner Susan Stroman (The Producers, Crazy For You), with lyrics by Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Seussical) and book by Mike Ockrent (Crazy For You, Me and My Girl).

Described by The New York Times as ‘a tonic for adults, and for children a transfixing journey’, this outstanding musical extravaganza ran for ten years at New York's Madison Square Garden, followed by followed by sell-out West End concerts. A Christmas Carol will now be semi-staged by ENO and LMTO at the magnificent London Coliseum and feature over 100 on-stage performers.
